ABOUT RCREC

Our Mission Statement:  Committed to supporting Republican values by electing conservative candidates, engaging Raleigh County communities, and by promoting opportunity throughout southern West Virginia. We advocate for quality jobs, strong families and limited government.

Faith.  Family.  Freedom.

The R.C.R.E.C. is the foundation of Republican grassroots politics.

Registered Republicans who apply for and are elected to represent their precinct participate in monthly or bi-monthly meetings of the party and vote on decisions affecting the County party’s work. These Committemembers also volunteer in their communities to share values and ideas and grow the party by activities such as campaigning, registering voters, and ultimately winning elections.

Meetings take place the 1st Tuesday of every month during election years and every other month during off-election years. These meetings are open to the public and local interested constituents are welcome to attend and participate in their local party’s efforts.

Becoming involved with your local REC gives you access to public elected officials. Being involved with your local REC gives you voting power, influence, and most importantly responsibility in local party affairs.

REC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruiting the best Republican, conservative candidates for local, county, state, and federal offices.

  • Getting out the Vote to elect Republican, conservative candidates who share our values.

  • Representing our community to the Republican Party at-large.

  • Representing the Republican Party at-large in your community.

  • Preserving, protecting, and defending Republican conservative principles.

  • Inspiring the next generation to be politically active and engaged.
